TUOMO KUOSA

Futurist, Dr. Tuomo Kuosa is a founding partner of Futures Platform, and the long-term Director of its multi-disciplinary Futures Research Team. He works also as an Associate Professor (Docent) of Strategic Foresight in Finnish National Defence University, and as a senior consultant in consulting companies Ihme and Luotzi. He has written dozens of research papers and four books related to foresight such as Gower´s ”The Evolution of Strategic Foresight” and “The Epoch Change Ahead Us”. He has worked in Finland Futures Research Center, in Center of Excellence for National Security (RSIS Think Tank in Singapore), in consulting agencies, and he has done e.g. a research and publication about “strategic intelligence” together with Finnish Security and Intelligence Service, and a 100+ pager scenario building manual and education for the Finnish Defense Forces´ Research Agency´s Concepts and Doctrines Division. Kuosa has in total 20+ years experience on strategic foresight, futures scenaring and strategy work in various types of organizations around the world.
